The organisers of the Rokiškis Rally again created one of the longest itineraries in the Lithuanian Rally Championship. Although a more conservative strategy with artificial jumps was chosen this year, the cars were severely damaged by huge ruts on the second run of the special stages. However, the Lithuanian summer is to blame for this, with no shortage of rainfall and a very soft surface that could not withstand more than 100 participants. The N5 crews also had very different outcomes here.
Deividas Gezevičius is finally experiencing a legendary season, with Evaldas Kvederis reading the pacenotes for him. While the Ford Fiesta N5 crew was still in sixth place in the overall standings on the first day of the rally, the driver from Ukmergė made a big push on the second day of the race and climbed to third place and finished there. This is the highest achievement for Deividas Gezevičius in his career, and the points collected in the 4WD and LARČ1 classes make him feel very confident before the end of the season. Congratulations to Deividas on this historic success!

Paulius Beniušis and Kristupas Adinavičius again drove superbly and stably for most of the rally. However, their wonderful season was slightly interrupted in Rokiškis – the Citroen C3 N5 lost control due to ruts in a fast left-hand bend and got stuck in a ditch. Rally fans pulled the car onto the road, but a cooling system damage prevented it from continuing the race. The rally proved to be difficult for Eugenijus Sladkevičius, who is racing in the LARČ1 class. Together with Marius Kairys, he was unable to show his usual speed and was therefore stuck in 15th place. However, the problems were resolved by the end of the rally, allowing the Škoda Fabia N5+ crew to move up to 9th place in the overall standings. Another historic success was achieved by Audronis Gulbinas. The driver from Kaunas, together with Vytis Paliukonis, used his experience to finish 20th overall and win the LARČ5 class in a Volkswagen Polo N5. This is also Audronis’s best performance in his career.

The other participants in the LARČ5 class – Justinas Brokorius and Rokas Markovičius – unfortunately did not reach the finish line of the competition. Julis Masonas, who raced in the LARSČ championship, was also unlucky with the retirment.
