The Lithuanian Rally Championship is progressing and will be halfway through this weekend. The third round of the championship welcomes everyone to a new venue, Ukmergė, where the fastest rally drivers return after a break of more than 20 years. This means that a very responsible reece awaits on the special stages.

Deividas Gezevičius and Evaldas Kvederis, who have been given the high fourth starting number, should feel most comfortable on the special stages of this rally. Deividas comes from Ukmergė, so he will be at least somewhat familiar with the special stages of this rally. Combined with the speed the crew has shown recently, we can expect a really strong result in this rally. A little further away, Paulius Beniušis and Kristupas Adinavčius, who have also achieved excellent results this season, will start the competition with the ninth starting number. As usual, they had tests before this rally, so they are well prepared for the Ukmergė challenge. Eugenijus Sladkevičius and Marius Kairys will drive to the special stages with the fifteenth starting number. Eugenijus was late to reece for personal reasons, so we hope that the crew will have time to complete the reece.

The eighteenth starting number went to Justinas Brokorius, who was upset by the Žemaitija Rally even before the start of the competition. However, despite the incident, Justinas with his co-driver Ramūnas Paškevičius and the Ford Fiesta N5 showed a solid result, so the same is expected in Ukmergė. Everyone was really looking forward to Aurimas Eidžiūnas and Justus Barysas, as there was a chance that they would compete with the latest N5 model – the Ford Puma N5. Unfortunately, this freshly assembled car will only arrive in Lithuania from Spain in the coming days. In the meantime, Aurimas and Justas will compete with the old Ford Fiesta N5. The only VW Polo N5 bears the number 45 and will be driven by Audronis Gulbinas and Vytis Paliukonis. The team hopes to reach the finish after an unsuccessful stage in Žemaitija. There is a big question mark over the seventh N5 car – the Renault Clio N5, which will be driven by Julius Mason’s son, Majus. The question mark over the car arose after Julius’ accident at the Tauragė Rally, in which the Renault was damaged. The team is trying to restore the car so that Majus can make his debut with N5 mashinery.
