Just last weekend, seven N5 cars kicked up dust in Visaginas, and this time they will do the same in Kėdainiai. A considerable number of guests, including three N5 crews, gathered for the first round of the Lithuanian Mini Rally Championship. For the N5 trio, it is a training session ahead of the opening of the LARČ in Lazdijai next weekend. In Kėdainiai, the participants have to master around 32 sporty kilometers, which are divided into eight special stages with a service zone.

Paulius Beniušis is in great form this year

The highest number in Kėdainiai was given to Paulius Beniušis, who is very actively collecting kilometers this year, and an increased speed is visible. In this rally, Justas Vaitekūnas will take over the co-driver’s pacenotes from Kristupas Adinavičius, who actively drove a Honda Civic 15 years ago and even earlier. The well-known Pole Mikolaj Kempa returns to the Lithuanian rally tracks with his co-driver Sebastian Wach, who is also almost a local now. As usual, the crew will drive the Ford Fiesta N5 of Darius Biesevičius. And the N5 trio will be completed by the Hyundai i20 N5 with Rokas Markovičius and Tomas Grigonis. They were unsuccessful last weekend in Visaginas due to problems with the turbine, so Kėdainiai will be a great place to bounce back against Rally in Lazdijai.

M.Kempa will return to the familiar Ford Fiesta N5
After the unsuccessful Visaginas, Kėdainiai is a great opportunity for R.Markovičius to get back on track
