During the big summer break between the Rokiškis and Elektrėnai rallies, there is plenty of action here and in the surrounding countries. Mini rally competitions will be held in Lithuania, and the Latvians will host the fourth Latvian, fifth Estonian, third Latvian Rally Sprint and fifth Lithuanian Rally Sprint championship events. All this will be combined in a single competition – Rally Cesis. Rokas Markovičius and Martyn Masaitis, who have already participated in a number of rallies this season, will join the Lithuanian Rally Sprint competitors. After their successful debut with the Hyundai i20 N5 in Rokiškis, the pair will continue to collect sporting kilometers and test N5 material. As the cews in the Rally Sprint Championship drive a shorter route, the Lithuanians will only drive 60 kilometers on Saturday instead of the full 97-kilometer rally route, which stretches over Friday afternoon and the whole of Saturday. Five special stages await them – two will be driven twice and one only once. The length of the special stages, which are between 9 and 15 kilometers, will be also used for training before the final stage of the Sprint championship at the Elektrėnai Rally, where the stages will also be long. Rokas and Martynas will be the only ones with N5 equipment, so other opponents with 4WD cars will try to compete with them.
