Recently there were 4, but one of them traveled to Lithuania where driven by Rokas Steponavičius Ford Fiesta N5 finished 2nd in the LARČ5 classification this year. Among these three cars, there is another Lithuanian accent – Jaakko Lavio’s Peugeot 208 N5, which he has been driving in Finland for two years and which previously belonged to Vitalijus Plastininas. The other two are Teemu Asunma’s former Kia Rio N5 and the Toyota Yaris N5.

There was one constant participant in the main Finnish rally championship – Jaakko Lavio with the Peugeot 208 N5. The rules of the Finnish Rally Championship were not favorable for the N5 cars this year, as they under Finnish requirements with a smaller turbine restrictor and more weight, and they have to compete in the SM5 class against opponents with much fewer restrictions. However, that did not stop Jakko from finishing on the podium at the Kuopio Rally in the winter.

Tomi Roennemaa also carried the N5 flag throughout the season in Finland with the Kia Rio N5. Tomi took part in the extremely popular Finnish F-Cup series, where he became champion in the 4WD classification. Tomi was also seen at the Saaremaa Rally or Vetomies rally that took place on the roads of WRC Rally Finland before the WRC event. There Toni finished tenth overall and third in class.

The third car in Finland, the Toyota Yaris N5 had no permanent driver. It was driven by Tommi Jylha in the Arctic Lapland Rally and by Pasi Penttinen in the other winter rally. For the next summer, the Yaris fell into the hands of Tuukka Hallia, where this car was extremely fast. Tuuka won the Rallybaron Maentsaelae of the F-Cup series with a Toyota Yaris N5 and finished eighth overall and second in the SM5 class at the Itäralli event of the Finnish main championship.
