Another stage of the mini-rally is attended by N5 cars. The penultimate race of the LMRČ championship returns to its place of origin – Dzūkija. However, the team “Marimotors”, which has developed its organizational experience and potential to the LARČ level, has not forgotten its origins. Instead of Lazdijai, the venue of the “Gravel Fest Rally”, a more modest town was chosen – Daugai. Here again gather a whole bunch of mini-rally participants and beside them a few guests. The latter are fewer this time, because the “Alburnus Rally Elektrėnai” took place only last weekend, and in two weeks the LARČ season will be completed with the “Samsonas Rally Utena”. Even later the whole group of Lithuanians will go to Estonia – to Saaremaa Rally.
This time we have only one N5 representative. This year the N5 participants of the mini-rally are busy with other things – M. Kempa is preparing for the start in Saaremaa, V. Padegimas is taking a break from the rally, and R. Steponavičius has gone to Barcelona, where the “GSR Motorsport” team is participating in the Barcelona 24-hour race. Aurimas Eidžiūnas will not miss the opportunity to practice with a Ford Fiesta N5 before the Utena Rally. However, he will not start with the usual co-driver Justas Barysas, but with Lithuanian rally professor Žilvinas Juršys.
It is both the work on the car and the physical preparation, because immediately after “Samsonas Rally Utena” takes place SAMSONAS RACEFIT RALLY TEAMS CHALLENGE 2023. Yes, we work comprehensively for the end of the season and we have goals for specific results.
Unfortunately, the long-time co-driver and engineer of the team, Justas Barysas, cannot drive this weekend, so I am glad that rally professor Žilvinas Juršys has volunteered for this adventure. I hope that here will be taught not only how to work with the car, but also how to work with the do-driver.

Aurimas and others are waiting for 8 special stages, which will make a total of 26 sports kilometers. The stages are short – about three kilometers each – and are located between Daugai and Alytus. The start of the first car is at 11:15, and the competition will be finished in the evening.
