While there is a lot of time before the new rallying season in Lithuania starts but despite that processes have already begun. The first trailer with three N5 cars arrived in Lithuania from the RMC Motorsport base which is located in Spain.
Škoda Fabia N5 will be driven by Eugenijus Sladkevičius, who spent the last 4 years behind the Mitsubishi Mirage RS Proto Evo II wheel.
The Ford Fiesta N5 was already tested on the dyno stand in Lithuania and later will be driven by Aurimas Eidžiūnas who before that had experience with Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and Ford Fiesta Proto cars.
And Renault Clio N5 was probably the lucky one because its new owner Vilmantas Padegimas already tested it in AutoMoto park last week. Vilmantas is a new face in the Lithuania rally scene and appeared in the Historic car class last season, so evolution to the near-factory level car will be a challenge he is very much looking forward to. Vilmantas plans to do a lot of testing before Lithuania rally season begins in May.
